About Stav the Artist
Stav was born on October 9th, 2012 in Los Angeles, California. His artistic tendencies were made apparent very early on. At four years old it was already clear that Stav was born with a unique talent. Stav’s passion for color and need to express himself through art, only grew stronger as he experienced the sudden disappearance of his beloved father, who experienced a major brain injury. Some of his artwork depicts a certain darkness as well as a deep despair, characterizing a soul way beyond his tender years.
In 2019 Stav moved to Tel Aviv, Israel alongside his mother and two older sisters. There he reunited with his father (who undergoes treatment in Northern Israel) and his extended family.
Currently living in close proximity to the Mediterranean Sea and enjoying a new found freedom Los Angeles could not possibly offer to a child, Stav thrives as he draws inspiration from the eclectic city of Tel Aviv. Stav was never formally trained in art classes, yet his unique ever-evolving artistic style and natural aptitude for color composition, despite him being partially color blind, has earned him a reputation as an artistic genius in the making. In September of 2022, Stav entered the Harrison School of Arts, where he continues to develop and nurture his unique talents. There is not a doubt in his mind that his future will consist of being “the most famous artist in the world”.
